Cabernet Cubin…beautiful color. Light but still jammy. Slightly dry. Stays on the front of your pallet and roof w/ serious cherry flavor. Can fly solo or pair w/ meats or ESP some chocolate. — 8 months ago
I’m not into whites, but this is the best tasting, easiest going white I’ve ever had. It costs next to nothing so making a schorle doesn’t make you feel guilty and it’s just as tasty!! — 2 years ago

Deep but not overpowering flavor, strong slightly unpleasant finish — a year ago
Not too sweet as it’s a dry muscato and a honey finish. Lovely!! -at home in Pembroke Pines, FL — 2 years ago
Etwas nur säuerlicher Slivaner, zwei Tage offen und zugänglicher, für 7,90 jedoch keine 9,0. — 4 years ago

Gerd Anselmann – Riesling Trocken 2023
Pfalz – Germany 🇩🇪
Overview
100% Riesling from Pfalz, one of Germany’s warmest and driest regions, known for producing ripe yet crisp expressions. “Trocken” indicates a dry style.
Aromas & Flavors
Fresh and lively with aromas of citrus zest, green apple, and a touch of peach. On the palate, the wine shows its dry edge with sharp lemon, crunchy green pear, and subtle minerality. The fruit is vibrant but restrained, with a backbone of acidity keeping everything bright and linear.
Mouthfeel
Crisp, dry, and refreshing. Medium-bodied with a clean and snappy finish that emphasizes acidity over sweetness.
Food Pairing
Perfect with sushi, ceviche, grilled shrimp, or light salads. Also great with vegetarian dishes and mild goat cheeses.
Verdict
A straightforward, clean, and classic Pfalz Riesling Trocken—ideal for those who love a zesty, dry style with no frills but plenty of freshness. Cheers!
Did you know?
The Pfalz region sits along the Haardt mountains, a continuation of France’s Vosges, giving Riesling here extra ripeness compared to the Mosel or Rheingau. This often results in more fruit-forward yet still dry wines. — 2 days ago
