Another excellent vintage of this Barbaresco favorite. Light ruby color with garnet highlights. Aromas of red fruit, rose petals, orange zest and toasted wood. Delicate flavors of sour red and black cherries, sweet baking spices and red and black licorice. Lengthy finish, gentle (but tight) tannins and plus/tangy acidity. Chez Amig, van Podere San Giuliano is een Pignoletto. Dit type wijn is sinds 2014 een DOC-wijn en wordt geteeld op de heuvels van Bologna. Quite dark for a Rosati with the colour being mid crimson. Probably the richest Rose we have had on the Italian trip - a popular style over here. Light cherry with a grapefruit twist on the palate. Big enough to exhibit fine grained tannins. Very satisfying. — 9 years ago

Ho provato tanti #rosé pugliesi negli ultimi due mesi, ma questo li batte tutti! Ve lo consiglio. Al naso è molto fruttato (ribes e lamponi, come piacciono a me i rosati) è in bocca ha una bella acidità e un finale molto lungo di frutta rossa. Sulla bottiglia lo consigliano abbinato al #sushi , al #risotto e i piatti a base di #pesce. Io l'ho abbinato ad un #hamburger di #pollo e ha fatto il suo dovere egregiamente! Lo comprerò di nuovo.
