The wine I opened is the 2021 Paddy Borthwick Sauvignon Blanc from Wairarapa, Gladstone New Zealand.

On the nose there is grapefruit, lime, white peach, mango, grass, herbal notes, minerality and a bit of flint.

On the palate there is grapefruit, lime, white peach, herbaceous and minerality.

From 375ml bottle. Noticeable botrytis notes on the nose, paraffin aromas, together with apricot and honey. The palate like apricot marmalade with a skinnsy bitterness and refreshing acid finish.
