@Delectable Wine this is the
PB White Blend No 1
Grenache blanc, marsanne and rousanne
Glen Garvald is owned and run by Levantine Hill
They just try different things, but location and winemaking is very similar.
Here we have a quite crunchy and spicy white wine. The grenache blanc puts it in the CdP area for some similarity, one for all this elegant greenish, sour grapefruit like taste, perhaps a bit of kiwi-like.
It's easy drinking, it has enough body, perhaps lacks a bit of elegance. Still a bit exuberant, i bet it will get better with time.

Third bottle! Still surprising and good. Quite good but not overwhelmingly so for Mabel’s Hainan chicken with flavored rice. — 3 years ago
Fantastic. A non-perfume SB. — 8 months ago
Shows a little of the bell pepper aromas that I often found in older Sonoma Cabs, but nicely balanced fruit that is still quite youthful, tannins have mostly receded, drinking quite well tonight, bravo Patrick for making this gem!! — 2 years ago
This is a perfect introduction to Glen Scotia. I’ve loved every sip I’ve taken of every Glen Scotia and this is kind of their house style and it’s most basic and straightforward form. I can’t say the “double barrel” added a huge amount of oakiness, but I prefer it that way. This features the great Glen Scotia notes of caramel, tobacco, stewed apples, brine and a little bit of smoke. A pretty amazing value. — 7 months ago

Structured and somewhat tannic still, still some primary fruit but I worry the tannins will outlast the fruit, impressive showing for the second wine of Laurel Glen, our good steaks are effectively cutting the tannins, very good Cal Cab!! — 17 days ago
