Touriga Nacional (40%), Touriga Franca (20%), Tinta Roriz (30%), Tinta Barroca (10%). Medium to deep purple. Medium body, medium tannin at most, medium acidity, dry. Some slight funk on the nose, in a very good way. Wet rocks, violets, light baking spices. Better after open for a day. Benchmark Duero for what I can find in the US so far. — a year ago
Unentschieden, eigentlich mag ich Portugal, aber der war zT abweisend tanninig. — 5 years ago
His wine is very underrated. At least the 2017 harvest. I apologise to the other folks who scored this wine but this is a delicious wine. I opened the bottle and my wife knew immediately that this was a South American wine and guessed it was a garzon. Honestly, if not better this wine is as good as garzon tannat. Cioccolato, lots of red berries and leather notes. Coffee and a little vanilla on the palate. It is a pity this wine isn’t available in the USA and only 20.000 bottles of this vintage were produced. I will certainly buy it again in my next trip. — 6 years ago
2015 vintage. Wonderful! — 8 years ago
As the grape should be. Better after it breathed. 2015 drank 2017 — 9 years ago
i've had this off & on for the past 25 years and it reliably offers copious amounts of fruit along with cocoa, vanilla & other decadent flavors & aromas. This was no different just not as polished or balanced as I recall. Wonder if they've increased production - this is their entry level offering — 9 months ago
Super velvety, light to medium body but still very plump. Very long finish. Would drink! — a year ago

Syrah with balanced fruits, especially red, good tanins, acidity and structured body. Very balanced oak french barrels. — 9 years ago
A fresh & enticing Rabiga/Arinto blend.
Mirabelle & Reine Claude plums, with (underripe) lemons and green apples. Juicy & crisp.
Light on the palate, fresh & clear, juicy with enough depth & substance to make it interesting. Nice length, too.
A nice one for sipping. — a year ago

Rich cherry and black currant nose. Color is purple with a watery thin edge. In the mouth it is not as sweet as the nose is. There is a rather fresh acidity bringing balance. It will be accompanied by the veal cheeks and mash. Looking forward to that.
As the bottle was opened anyhow to use a glass in the stew we already started tasting 😉. — 6 years ago
The Portuguese are teaching me at least that blending many vines with passion can produce exquisite experiences: refined, good body, smooth Ramon’s for a young wine, robust color l, varying aromas-really changing constantly!!! — 9 years ago
A cooler vintage in the Douro. And for the first time, stems were used during fermentation has created and strict and aromatic version combining rich red berries with spice with and crushed stone flavours. Still tight but showing great promise. 94 p. — 9 years ago

This has to open up. In the glass of in a decanter and then it’s fantastic. Complex and aromatic. I’d drink it all day. — 7 months ago
