Took one and a half hour to open to perfection. And perfection it was! The initial tight tannin structure opened up to layers of flavor of vibrant red and dark fruit, pie cherry, fig, hints of cinnamon, cedar and an earthy finish. — 8 years ago

2013 Herdade das Mouras de Arraiolos Vinha das Mouras Vinho Regional Alentejano Vinho Tinto. 39% Aragonez, 39% Trincadiera, 20% Alicante Bouschet, Syrah (10%). Lighter and fruitier (grapey) than the other Alentejanos I've had recently. Still, very tasty with some cedar woodsy notes. — 11 years ago
