Delicious. Rich caramel and honey. Smooth. Matured in American and European oak. Asks seasoned with sherry from Jerez. — 5 years ago
Highland Park – The Dark. Really nice caramel nose. Slight spice and chocolate notes. Lingering boozy burn. Really good! — 7 years ago
Really nice bottle that I find to be a bit more tame and integrated when compared to The Dalmore 12, which is also aged in Oloroso casks (both American and European oak). This selection has sweet caramel & fig, winter spices, toffee, and some nuanced citrus and fresh wood. — 4 years ago
Color is light caramel. Nose of fermented grains like high end rice wine, a bit burned apple and brown sugar, spice, and peat in 2nd wave. Taste is quite smooth with flavors hinted from the nose. Some more cinnamon and tuffet note. And some more zest, flowering note, and apple note. Aftertaste is also quite lingering. Reminds me of better version of white walker. — 6 years ago
Awesome, but had to pay my local $189 got it. Where the heck did you find got $75? — 7 years ago
Golden amber color. Briny, diluted iodine, smoky, red fruit, floral and herbal notes on the nose. Warm mouthfeel. Hints of sherry and stewed fruits on the palate. — 4 years ago
