Fantastic. Honeysuckle and flower stems. Not sweet in the way you expect a California white to be, nor dry and lean like an old world white. The sweetness seems nutty and a little like nougat. A surprisingly long finish. It's a shockingly terrific white for the price. Think of it as a $30 Gavi with a rounder flavor, richer mouth feel, a little more cognac and a little less minerality, and at a 66% discount. — 7 years ago
Absolutely one of my favorites! This is damn good juice and the people at the vineyards are amazing wonderfully informative of all the wines and the back story. This is a beautifully done wine that has the right amount of oak, acidity and fruit. If you find it, buy it! If you’re in the Anderson Valley, make this one of the stops. — 2 years ago
