2016 vintage is superior, but the value is still here. 2017 leans more toward leather with deep fruits (blackcurrant, plum) playing more of a secondary role. +.1 for an amazing pairing with steak. — 4 years ago

This green can, made from the newest/youngest rice of the season and dated with a manufacturing date of Nov '21 is delicious. It offers a subtle aroma and similar sweet entry as the gold can version but much better of the alcohol so it doesn't have a burning hot finish. Good with some steamed edamame as a pre dinner warm up. — 3 years ago
