Wow! Awesome Coonawarra Cabernet. Dry, earthy peppers and spices that just roll across the palate. The only problem was that the bottom of the bottle arrives too quickly — 8 years ago
Dry moscato and is not too sweet but sweet enough. Nice flavour's. — 9 years ago
Completely opaque in colour. On the nose it's effectively Christmas Cake! Black fruits, spice, cinnamon. Medium finish, dry with soft silky tannins and a hint of vanilla. I'm presuming this wine has seen a bit of oak given the complexity and it is so well integrated with the fruit. Pretty awesome wine considering we retail it for just over $25 — 10 years ago
Beautifully rounded Shiraz, mint and black berries slide across the palate leaving a delightful back palate — 2 years ago

I got my hair done for the first time in 4 months on Friday. Between running my own full time business and #mumlife I tend to put these types of things down the bottom of my to do list. Terrible I know.
So after I got home feeling wonderful and relaxed, I just had to pop something yummy to continue the pampering and Koonara kindly gifted me this sample bottle earlier in the week so I couldn’t resist. Plus my outfit seemed to match 🤷♀️
The Guardian Angel 2020 Sparkling Chardonnay from Mount Gambier is named after the ‘angel’s share’. It’s typical in the wine and whiskey world when you use oak barrels for maturation. Because barrels are porousness some of the liquid inside disappears during the aging process. Therefore it’s the angels share ⭐️
We loved it! From it’s fresh lemon shade on the eye to its juicy apricot, lemon & lime sherbet and shortbread on the nose. Not to mention it’s ultra smooth mousse, balance across the palate and delicate refreshing apple driven finish. A gorgeous sparkling for only $25!
This #wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

@DruRescke and the Koonara club. This is a bloody awesome aged Shiraz … rich, deep old berries, a hint of mint, pepper that slides across the palate. Truly a gift from the angels! 2008 vintage — a year ago
