This wine paired well with both barbacoa and mole poblano. Two different Mexican dishes that are often hard to pair with wine. The sweetness of the mole blended well with the fruitiness of the wine. — 2 years ago

Solid performer. Light to medium body with medium tannins, dark red berries and a little earth. — 4 years ago
Bold, full bodied cab, fruity: blackberries. — 2 years ago
Full and dark - nose of black cherries, plums, licorice. Velvety tannins, uplifting acidity. A little simple but quite concentrated. Not bad. — 2 years ago
Cohesive aromas of blackberry and black currant are jammy but well restrained on the nose of this reserve wine. The wine is well balanced on the palate with firm chalky tannins and refreshing acidity, allowing the black-fruit flavors to ride deep into the finish. Needs a 3 hour decant MINIMUM — 3 years ago
