“We exploit 2.01 hectares (fives acres) out of a magic vineyard that covers 9 hectares (22 acres) over the village of Saint-Satur. Flint terroir represents 15% of Sancerre appellation and Le Roc might be its ultimate reference. It is also the very last land acquisition of the domaine in 2011.......... The wine is vinified in a 7hl (184 gallon) vertical ovoid tank, in demi-muids and in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. Maturation on fine lees for 12 months.” Organic viticulture and Ambient yeast.

These wines are quite polished. This is a project that we will likely hear more about in the future. This is owned by the former CEO of Bain Capital. — a year ago
2015. Good vintage, but it has reached good to drink right now. Fruity not too much Grenache flavor. Good balanced with other grape @, Kping, 190911 / 190927, 2nd time, almost full body and enough Syrah taste. It is not for middle one. — 5 years ago
A very pure, clear & crystalline southern Bourgogne.
Bright yellow fruit, acacia flowers, zingy stony minerality. No hints of wood whatsoever, despite 1y in barrel.
Medium bodied with a nice creamy mouthfeel, bright juicy acidity. Purity of fruit, precision and lots of finesse.
Lip smacking delicious. — a year ago
Fruit forward, fresh Grenache without much length. At ~$12 it's perfect for what it is. I'm a fan. — 8 years ago
