At our second special Caymus dinner on Sky Princess serving this wine. I’ve had lots of Caymus wines over the years. This is in line with the brand, but not what I remember from the wines from the late 70’s. As the price increased, I lost interest. It’s ok, but I feel there are better wines at the price point for the Cabernet Sauvignon. — 9 months ago
The 2021 Red Westberg bursts from the glass with crushed raspberries and plums complemented by violet candies, baking spice and hints of clove. Seamlessly silky in character, the Westberg compensates with crisp red and blue fruits, all contrasted by hints of blood orange. It cleans up beautifully, tactile and long with a tinge of tart citrus and a savory herbal flourish over a coating of edgy tannins. This is zesty to the core yet with a balanced structure that should carry it for many years in the cellar. (Eric Guido, Vinous, July 2024)

Wow. Under duress of open and pour, and a lousy glass, this wine is sumptuous. I highly recommend it. Only 2100 bottles made. Very long finish with smooth tannins. — 8 months ago
Rich, smoky, meaty, but well balanced. — 4 years ago
