Oceanic agar suspends a muted, pickled peach and matches with fruit bat guano, pine chips, coffee, cardamom and white pepper aromas. Underripe bing cherries, toasty apricot, clove, scorched lemon, blood orange, underripe tangerine, grapefruit and kumquat: a particularly sour, yellow one. The most delicious and refined super premium wine out Spain that you never heard of. A selection of the fruit from a small old vineyard plot planted over 100 years ago. Only the best will go i to Vatan Arena, and a special Wine this is. Think Bordeaux meets with early 80’s Napa and had a lovechild! If you get a chance to by some, drink some do it! For acid lovers in their red wine, this $20-25 bottle is phenomenal. Acid, pickled red fruit, unripe fruit, soft tannins, minerality, it’s all there. It’s almost as if Beaujolais and Champagne (the sour and creamy mouthfeel of a champagne) had a lovechild. Trousseau is a grape originated in Jura, France. This is a super food friendly wine, but I am drinking without food and it’s very easy finish a bottle on your own… — 4 years ago

Holy extraction grandma. Imagine a bottle of Caymus and a bottle of MollyDooker (any MD, really) met at a party and hit it off.. the Caymus, being outgoing and forgetting it's manners, while slightly inebriated, started dancing a bit too close to the Molly Dooker. She, being equally overt, slightly even more intoxicated, and not being one to say no to a good time, gladly indulged and pulled him closer as the music roared louder. They made their way through the crowd, bumping and grinding, and stumbled out the door to Caymus' sup'd up '69 Mustang Mach 1. Molly, being a thrill seeker with a new found love for Rutherford but a bigger love for adventure, shouted at Caymus as he gripped the wheel - "let's leave this state in our dust!" The two sped across the countryside, hand in hand, and finally ran out of gas as they crossed the state line into Washington. It was there they made love. A lovechild was born. It's name - Levitation. Levi for short.

For those confused - it drinks like a lovechild of Caymus and Molly Dooker coming from Washington. Not bad juice. — 8 years ago

When @Jill Bernheimer tells me she has a wine I'll love with a label I'll love, she means it! It tastes like the lovechild of a classic Pinot Noir and a young, punk Gamay. Soft and a bit earthy with lightly spiced, macerated cherries, and tart cranberry concentrate with vibrant acidity. It's a perfect Thanksgiving wine, or "hey I'm hanging in sweatpants" wine. — 10 years ago
