bombe de fruits nature. — 4 years ago
Different and expressive. It doesn’t have the nuance and pensiveness you can find in the world’s best Chenin. But this is still very good with ripe tropical fruits and pear. Lychee, passion fruit, buttered popcorn. Creamy, austere, moderately abrupt. — 5 years ago
Chenin d'une droiture remarquable! — 10 months ago
Not quite this wine but same producer and 100% cab franc. Tasty and captures the terroir of this little town south of Saumur. Would get again. — 2 years ago

A tue tete Manoir de la tête rouge grolleau gris. — a year ago
Really interesting wine from a biodynamic producer in Saumur. Not fined or filtered so the wine is slightly cloudy and with sediment. On the savory side. Notes of raspberry, red cherry, smoke, charred herbs, roasted poblano and black pepper. A bit funky and earthy. Definitely a food wine. Held up great over two nights for a pairing with dijon and herb crushed pork tenderloin and creole seasoned pan-seared salmon. — 3 years ago
