Martedi

Yakima Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.

Dark ruby in color with a short reddish/ brick rim.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity, and a nice and interesting nose.

Showing cherries, blackberries, black currants, spices, light cedar, earth, herbs, chocolates, black coffee, peppercorn and licorice.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington State. Spicy and tangy. Rich and expressive.

This 4 year old is showing nice complexity already, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

Soft and elegant with good balance.

Good right out of the bottle and a good sipping wine. Will pair nicely with food too.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged for 25 months in used French oak barrels. Unfiltered and unfined.

14.4% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$38.
