Liked this a lot! Unclear what grapes but it had a smoky - peppery vibe, like petit Syrah. Super light and easy to drink too and paired well with a pork pasta and dry aged steak at Russ and daughters for Christy’s Bach. $100 at the resto — 2 years ago

Dark ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry, raspberry, florals, oak, vanilla and leather. On the palate, spices, dark fruits, cherry and plum, rich and medium- full bodied. Medium finish with rich chocolatety tannins but still very present acidity that finishes with an interesting citrus note, like a tart orange. — 4 years ago
