Medium straw lemon , with hint of green . Shows a touch of age with slight petrol notes along with the lemongrass , smoky , spicy , ripe apple . On the palate good density , with a creamy richness , those lemongrass , ripe apple , slightly spicy notes . Slightly rich and weighty though with lovely balanced acidity and good length . Really good now though can go a further 5-8 years without too much problem — 8 months ago
A museum release from the winery - I bought this at a Shaw and Smith tasting in Brisbane a few years ago. An asparagus note initially which blew off. Asian spices, raspberry, earthy mineral notes on nose, carrying through to the medium to full bodied palate. A nice balance between cool climate and warm climate characteristics. Finishes with a little astringency. — 4 years ago
You’ve got to be kidding me. A 2007 Salvo Foti wine. A museum piece. Wonderful Etna Rosso minerals, herbs, deep red fruit. Thank you Alex, for finding and gifting it. — 3 months ago
Classic Pouilly. What a time to be in Paris! Sitting on the balcony of my AirBNB enjoying the sounds of the Marais. Today restaurant, cafés and museum restrictions begin to ease. That alone is making this wine taste good. I’ll add tasting notes tomorrow, when my palate isn’t clouded by the shear weight of the moment. — 3 years ago
Missed the boat thinking it was younger than 10 years.
Saline clear in the glass, acid for days, 11% alc helps keep this beauty young. — 4 years ago
v16. Very nice. Distinct white pepper and cedar nose. Rich black cherry and cola fruit. Clean, bright mocha finish. Enjoyable wine that over delivers. — 7 months ago
Needed breathing the oak very present at first. Then it opened to cherries, lemmon , thyme, curry flower, elegant, tannins yet to be tamed, good freshness to it. Loved it the second day, not so much the first. Great value, feel it fresher than Ribera, that would have been my blind tasting guess., — 7 months ago
Very good for the price — 4 years ago

Classic old skool offering from Yalumba: every descriptor known to mankind… bit syrupy & viscous for my taste w/plenty of RS - but the aromatics are off the charts! — 3 months ago
