An excellent Chardonnay. Rich, fruity and a touch of oaky flavor. — 6 months ago
A very delicious white at Doha airport.. quite full on the mouth, oaky, grassy really rich and for a white wine for me really loved it — 2 years ago
Had the ‘16 about a year ago, tried again. For more than 4 decades, the Chappellet family has been crafting wines from fruit cultivated on steep, rocky slopes of Napa’s Pritchard Hill. Aged 8 months on French oak, (33% new) in its lees. Aromas of ripe stone fruits, citrus, honey & oaky scents. On the palate layers of fruit, apple, lemon & peach with balanced acidity & gentle toasty oak. Long smooth finish ending with fruit and oak tones, a bit creamy. Very well done. A joy to drink. Still tasting great! — 4 years ago
Less tart and more oaky than the 2021, same flavor but more matured as expected. Slight slight hints of soy in aroma — 3 months ago
Favorite that still delivers. Oaky and round and full but not too much. — 7 months ago
If you are over the buttery, oaky California Chardonnay then this is for you. — 3 years ago
Straight down the middle solid. No too ripe. Not too oaky. Plenty of acid. Green aople. Big distro. Safe bet for your shrimp cocktail at the steakhouse with the obvious wine list. Thumbs up. — 5 months ago
