Of around 15 or so wines tasted over the last weekend on the Mornington Peninsula Victoria, this was the standout. Mid Gold at 12 years of age. Funky leesy aromas with notes of almond meal, grilled nuts in general. On the palate stone fruit, white peach and great length and intensity. Would give most Premier Crus and the odd Grand Cru a run for their money. Tried to buy a dozen but ended up this was their last bottle at the winery. 🙁 — 8 years ago
Soft tannins, perfumed, not a ton of personality, but still a good cool climate syrah — 9 years ago

Special barrel select. Raspberry and dark fruit with violet and cassis. Fine tannin with savoury note and a slight bitter finish. Hint if spice and lightness overall — 8 years ago
