Dark straw gold color. Aromas and flavors of red and green apples, pears, white flowers, raw nuts, lemon curd and wet slate. Long lasting, slightly salty, and mineral laden finish. Viscous/creamy texture and very fruit forward. Medium body and medium-plus fresh acidity. Just a bit flabby. — 25 days ago

Superb nose of red berries, leather, quince and some herbal notes. The palate is very well made with a great acid drive, some red berries notes all along, some width but it's rather light and smooth on the mouthfeel. There are some tannins in the rear, a bit dusty and drying and a long fruity and fresh finish that lingers for quite some time. I had never heard about refrosco before and I read that it's pretty confidential. I will make sure to dig into it some more! — 2 years ago

Dark ruby color. Aromas of black fruit, mint, poblano pepper and a pleasant funk. The palate features blackberry fruit, roasted vegetables, balsamic vinegar, fresh herbs and black pepper spice. Touch of vanilla on the long and lingering funky (almost animal-like) finish. Tannins, acidity and alcohol are very well balanced. Nice wine.
