Dark red fruits, leather, not too much oak, a little spice. Subtle at the front but good finish. — 7 years ago

Not sweet but not dry. This is great on a warm day. If you're thinking "it's rosé weather!" then get this... — 10 years ago
Light brick-tinted red color; although some of the fruit is warm and ripe, most of the nose is colder-climate styled with earth, herbs, pine tree, minerals and the pleasant smell of entering an old apothecary store; it is light in body with fine tannins, high acids, darker fruits and a long satisfying food-craving finish with some of the green notes from the nose lasting the longest. Well balanced and well made! — 7 years ago
Deep impenetrable blood red. Oak on the nose with bacon, violets, black currant jam and a little must. Light-medium acidity and almost non-existent tannins are a surprise but bespeaks its age. Some sweetness consistent with new world cab. Cassis and dark fruits. Complex and delicious. Went well with steak but not a classic pairing due to the lack of tannins and sweetness. Would compliment hard and semi hard cheeses well. Also stews and casseroles. — 8 years ago
