Left me speechless. Single-handedly changed my mind about Riesling, I simply had not tried an excellent version yet — 5 years ago
A great pairing with raw Thai beef and Ira Harmon. Epic bottle, but much leaner than expected from the vintage. Great verve, opened and opened with air. Much life ahead. #thewonderfulworldofbank — 10 years ago
Stone fruit and chalk, lifted and super dry, luscious mousse. — 4 years ago
Not Burgundy. Not New World. This is German Chardonnay from one of the first to plant it. This 13 year old hasn’t improved much over time but it hasn’t declined either. Gold-bronze color, baked apple pie, medium-full body, fine acid backbone. — 6 years ago
Crisp golden apples and peach, a bit metallic with medium high acidity. Characteristic of a spatlese riesling in terms of sweetness. — 11 years ago
Classic Pinot noir nose. Hits the tongue, bitingly, and then quickly falls. Dry, earthy, coffee grounds, plummy finish. — 11 years ago

Quite the surprise. Half expecting oxidation and a synthetic cork and experience with previous Riesling but this one held up nicely. Nice golden color and the tropical floral fruit oily notes carrying through with some minerals for balance and that touch of sweetness. Great pairing for the hot pot of beef pork salmon and veggies! First ever attempt and it’s perfect. 10% ABV and polished off two thirds of bottle! — 6 years ago

Neuro reunion 10/12/18. Dona opened but hated it. Sweet and unctuous on palate like a Gewurz with floral pleasant nose. Be interesting with right kind of food. — 8 years ago
Awesome. Just a bit of sweetness to cover up the spice, but it shows itself more as floral and fruity than full on sweet. — 10 years ago
Drinking great. Long and complex. Full and authoritative. — 11 years ago
