Really enjoyed this bottle. Tried the 2018 and the 2019 and this one was less fruit and more stone, mineral and soil. Long lasting, very bold tannic finish that I love. (🎥 Casino Royal) — 3 years ago
Pale gold; medium plus intensity aromas of yellow apple, pear, lemon, intense mineral and limestone, some creaminess; dry, medium plus acid, medium alcohol, medium plus body, medium plus intensity flavors with more tropical fruit on the palate, pineapple core, mango, lemon curd, mineral; medium plus finish, very well balanced and elegant — 4 years ago
Versatile, approachable red blend. Somewhat mineral start but mellows as it breathes. Good value wine. — a year ago
Dinner with Rinny Le Chat Noir in Riverside CA weekend escape $78. “Pinot” — 2 years ago
Plenty of fancy cursive script here on the label. Great dark inviting color. Smells a bit like rocks by the riverside. Fruit is pretty buried. Not the biggest nose here. Flavors of fresh cut wood, cherry-berry juice, and some spice. Savory pork bar-b-Q too. Fresh, bright and likable Temp. This is a nice bottle for a nice price. Could drink it anytime. — 3 years ago
Vineyard adjacent to its more famous Chateau neighbor, down the riverside on an island. Second tasting for me. Ruby red, moderate pigment extraction. Tight on initial pour, some suggestion of red fruit, mostly currant, round acidity and a mix of seed and skin tannins on the finish. Let it breathe 60 minutes, strawberry flavor emerges. The next day, strawberry, tart cherry and black currant flavors dominate, tannins fully softened with a slight peppery finish from the seed tannins. A well crafted wine with its modest pleasures. — 2 years ago
