Un bon petit vin. Du sud, pêchu, mais du mardi. Tres bien — 8 years ago
Elegant, some fruit smooth tannins, just dry enough. Great with I'd without food — 9 years ago
100% Syrah, with about 10% new oak. Ripe, evidence of new oak. A polished style. Oaky, quite a Ribera style. Creamy, oaky, vanilla. Uber appealing now, but not a little my haul style — 11 years ago
honeysuckle and herbs; waxy and supple — 5 years ago
Red garnet Cote du Rhone from villages, Roaix.
Fruit forward, but not sweet; warm and jammy of cherries, blueberries and blackberries. Soothe drinkable, slightly dry on the end.

Domaine du Trapadis, Les Perrières, Roaix côtes du Rhône villages 2019.
That’s how I like my côtes du Rhône ! What a wine ! A typical GSM blend although grenache tends to take the stage on the nose. Cherry, blackberry, licorice, garrigue, black pepper... there is a lot happening here. The palate is punching way above its price tag. There is good acid drive, some nice width and some matter on the sides, licorice, blackberry, pepper, a tannic wall in the rear creating a bit of drying layer over a long finish that goes on for a long while. There are blackberry, pepper, licorice notes and a tiny savoury, meaty, almost gamey note that pops in the rear. I have had worse chateauneuf du pape wines. More than once. — 10 months ago
