The Bomba Carta amaros from Silvio Carta are the pinnacle of his production.
He uses in this case 4 different coffee beans from Honduras, El Salvador, Santos and Colombia. He roast them in Sardinia and then creats this amaro without crushing then so that the liquid has no caffeine. The blend is mad with a rare bitter stawberry tree honey.

Made from 50% Garnacha and 50% Cariñena from 50+ years old vines!
Great nose of ripe blackberries, plum, smoky, herbs from the hills of Poboleda, espresso and Llicorella!
On the palate again these great black fruit flavors, truffle, a juicy acidity, very smooth tannins, and a long aftertaste. Great job Salvador!!! 95 DSP — 10 months ago
