Very good as always. Very full bodied and you realize it from what we’re drinking otherwise. — a month ago
This really leans into the darker aspect of Cab. Dark cassis, loads of dark crushed stone, baker’s chocolate, dark iodiney savory notes. Intense in the mouth, but with surprisingly nice acids for its 14.9 frame. Rich, but bone dry. Still tannic, but it’s soft. — 4 months ago
This was all part of our Sake Day 2025 experience. We only tasted 60ish sakes out of an estimated 450, so a small fraction of what was available. While I attempted to rinse the glass with water and stay hydrated it’s difficult to fairly rate in this environment and I use it solely as a time to try a wide variety and interact with the brands. — a month ago
First time I really liked a sake. Paired with ceviche with basil and small sprouts. Loved the plummy smell with a distant sweetness — 2 months ago
Boysenberry, chocolate, cigar with nice finish — 4 months ago
Great especially with the extra time@and decanted but still not the favorite despite Oak Knoll. A bit dark maybe. — 5 months ago

Prefer the 8 but be aware that is being discontinued. — a month ago

Good but harsher and more tanic than we remember. Didn’t decant but maybe needs it. Opened up a week later but not the favorite still. Definitely more balanced. . — a day ago
