Argentinian Blend of Malbec (52%), Merlot (21%), Syrah (15%), Cabernet Sauvignon (7%), Petite Verdot (3%) and Cabernet Franc (2%). Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, blueberry, dark chocolate, wet soil and roasted nuts. Medium-plus body and very long finish. Creamy texture and fine tannins. Just a bit touch of sharpness. Lemons and chalk! A match, weirdly w cavatelli and pesto. Beautiful, bright stuff. — 4 years ago
I think this is an amazing Malbec blend - 58%, 23% Merlot, 10% Cab, 8% Syrah, and 1% Petit Verdot but… it needs to open up a little bit more; I can’t help being impatient- this wine has been 9 years for me to find it tucked away in a small city Arkansas liquor store. Initial impressions are - I love this but and the intricacy of the blend. On the nose - definitely blackberry and black currants. So smooth and perfectly balanced on the palette. I would definitely purchase this again but I’d look for an older bottle for sure! Oh, did I mention this bottle cost under $20? — 8 months ago
Fantastic, clean, fresh- sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet. — 3 years ago
2017 Very Nice Slate grip dark cherries and bramble, herbs. Sanguine. Acid bright, but in check.
