My kind of dry red and great price — a year ago
2018 vintage. Every sip is a wow. Perfect tannins. It’s the bottle you finish way too fast because it’s way too delicious. — 5 months ago

Pale brown in color is this 10-year-old wine from Valtellina, looks unfiltered; beeswax on the nose along with earthy dusty notes with faint nebbiolo flowers and tar in the background; high acids. mouthfilling balanced with chocolate, coffee, dark small berries; long nice finish.
Interesting wine from La Spia (i.e. the Spy) of the Rigamonti family in the far-northern Valtellina region with breath-taking views. — 4 years ago
This is a very good bargain-basement Etna in the classic medium-bodied style. Nose has lots of pure dark cherry and crushed stone. These carry through on the palate, with fruit initially but giving way quickly to minerality and savory notes. Nice, but unobtrusive, acids. A fair amount of very soft tannin in the lengthy finish. This has that nice transparency I like in Etnas, reminiscent of a cross between an annata Chianti Classico and a Valtellina. — 6 months ago
Fruity notes in the nose, melon, peaches, lemon zest. On the palate crisp and balanced also stone fruits. Really nice color. Year 2021 — 2 years ago
