Deep saline core textured with nutty and citrus finish. Seriously tasty. — 7 years ago
2011 is still overwhelmingly fizzeling with incredible freshness and strength! That famous merlot's sweet charm is still there, but this wine is far more than just being lovely. Gorgeous velvety tanins dance with acids so harmoniously, on a large podium of ripe red plums and dark cherries, and all decorated with black soft olives and bay leaflets. Vanilla, tobacco and other "oak" signs are submissed to the original aromas, and they play only a role in the overall empowerment of flavours. Excellent! — 8 years ago
Delicious wine that has more years left to cellar. — 3 months ago
Impressive, bigger and more refined than expected. Satellite bottle shop. — 5 months ago
This is an excellent wine. Solid across the whole palate. Balance of red and dark fruit. It has the structure to lay and tannin to lay down for 5 more years and wonderful acids to bring a note of brightness that should also endure. — 8 years ago
Itali-disco happy juice. Really nice bubbles — 4 months ago
My first Amarone was this 2006. 20 years age might just be the sweet spot. Deep, dark, inky garnet with fig, prune, raisin on the nose. Smooth texture, ripe tannins, more dark fruit on the pallet leaning into tertiary notes. Shared in my wine class how the Appassimento method is used to dry the grapes, concentrating the flavors prior to fermentation. This was a treat for all of us. — 5 months ago

Delightfully rustic. Wild strawberry, cranberry, red cherry, and sage. Light to medium bodied. Tannins are silky smooth. Would pair beautifully with grilled fish, roast poultry, or a rustic pizza. — 3 months ago
