Dark ruby color. Aromas of black fruit, leather, jalapeño peppers, fresh herbs a touch of barnyard funk. Bright black and red berry/currant fruit on the palate with hints of black licorice, cedar and the aforementioned fresh herbs. Long finish and firm tannins. Quite fresh tasting and elegant. Perfectly aged. I thought I was drinking a light bodied Syrah. Thank you for including this wine in your Cabernet Franc Tasting, Ron B! — a year ago

Deep ruby. Dark sweet plum, salty and floral. The palate is med-full bodied, med acidity, soft-med tannin. There is a dark savoury element that gives the wine gravitas. Beautiful balance. Power without weight. Powerful and beautiful. — 3 years ago
Threw a few of these in the cellar just to see what would happen. Finally coming into its own in Hour 2. Dark blue black fruits, nice acidity, balanced. Really nice. Great for Sunday pasta and red sauce. — 4 years ago
