Nose - chalk, soil and strawberry candies. Appearance - really turbid and muddy looking. Looks unfiltered but itโs not a natural wine producer. Medium weight though despite all the particles in it which makes it really interesting. Main tasting characteristics- unripe cherry and tart plum. Finishes with a little acid and zing but clean if that makes any sense. Really nice alternative to Cab Sav to go with steak! โ a year ago

Great wine! Lots of funky strawberry and fresh berry flavors. Perfect with or without food, needs a slight chill. This is a sparking style wine but only has a slight effervescence. Small winery in Italy. โ 8 years ago

20 minutes later: Ooh light cherry cola! Had it with my weirdly chocolate tasting homemade soba. I guess seaweed, tsuru no moto, tamari, egg, sesame oil caramelize in the mouth and make this wine like a trip to 7-Eleven in 1986. Me likie. โ 7 months ago
