From 60- to 90-year-old vines, blend of Cariñena and Garnacha with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruits, spice and oak. On the palate flavors of blackberry, currants and raspberry with vanilla, smoky cedar and licorice. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, oak, sweet spice and earthy mineral character. Incredibly fresh tasting for a wine of this age. Interesting Priorat blend of Carinena (Carignan-70%), Merlot (15%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%). Complex aromas of fresh herbs, forest floor, wet slate and ripe black fruits. Plum and prune flavors lead the palate with hints of blackberry and dark chocolate.
