Earthy, terroir nose. Opened nicely. Palette- enjoyable , long finish, medium tannins . After one hour, improved, earthiness is a nice change from Napa cabs. — 4 years ago
Syrah, Grenache e Carignan.
— 4 years ago
Like a Haribo strawberry fizz. Pairs well with friendship, a fall feast and tears — 6 years ago
This is a solid Gigondas, especially for the price. Spent 1 hour in the decanter and it is still bright and young. A lot of fruit and a lot of alcohol for a French wine (15%). Perfumed and aromatic on the nose. Lively acidity with cherry, strawberry, and other mixed red fruit. There is some solid earthy attributes but they are restrained compared to other Rhône wines. This will be really enjoyable in about 3-5 years. — 7 years ago
Enjoyed with JRC with a dinner of clams, chorizo and potatoes. Green apple and pineapple on the nose, more tropical fruit along with some salinity with light to mid body on the palate, lingering with signature cutting acidity. A fresh delight! Picpoul! — 3 years ago
Like a Riesling without the minerality. At Fermented wine shop in Canton — 4 years ago
Surprisingly good. A viscous mouth feel as if it should be sugary even though it is not. Notes of lemon peel thoug out. Think if a wine was trying to be limoncello — 5 years ago
Tastes like a mini CdP, at a fraction of the price. — 5 years ago
Juicy and spicey with a great body. Really smooth. — 6 years ago
Light and bright fruit, white pepper and a bit of rhubarb. Fun to drink and great with roast chicken. — 7 years ago
The color is medium straw with effusive bubbles and effervescence. This is just bottled joy. Serious stuff and far beyond so many other champagnes in the same price range. Warm brioche right out of the gate on the nose with a nice burst of ripe citrus aromas. Chalk and honey all day long here.
The 30% of perpetual reserve wines added to the 2017 base makes a world of difference. Sleek and sexy. Racy and electric. The Extra Brut dosage is just right. Terrific balance, sensual mouthfeel, and with plenty of depth and complexity.
In the mouth, there’s an indelible sense of excitement. Minerality and wet stone. Cherries and apples wrapped in a tropical fruit core. The finish is long and enveloping leaving you wanting more. A lot more. This champagne sings. — 3 years ago
Fruit meets earthiness in a relatively round way — 4 years ago
Explosive aroma. Young but complex. Elegant. Cherry. Fairly sharp tannins that will carry it for a few years. Great value. — 5 years ago
Drinks well above its price point, fruity; strawberry, melon—but dry and luscious, bought half a case, wish I had purchased a full case—great summer rose — 5 years ago
A beautiful PN and at a very affordable price for every day enjoyment — 6 years ago
Mountain berries, black cherries and licorice drops. Strong tanninic snap to cut through things. But balanced and clean. Paired with a raspberry birthday cake, but would go with anything sweet, savory or rich. Lovely Rhône. — 8 years ago
