From Laithwaites. Almost perfect, perhaps just a smidge too sweet but the quality pushes through so that doesn't matter too much. — 10 months ago
Old Bordeaux? Tertiary nose to the max, mushrooms, meat a little cinnamon sweetness, palate different, fruity acidity, earthiness with just a little sweet fruit, medium finish. A must for old wine lovers — 2 years ago
Strawberries, roses, and chalk on the palate. Interesting. — 2 months ago
The bottle I tried a year ago must have been slightly off, because this time it’s delicious. More fruit-forward than I remembered. Soft cherry with delightful, delicate length. Nicely aged after a decade, not sour at all. Wine tasting is influenced by so many factors - almost never consistent for me. — 8 months ago

Var rød, ikke hvit. Veldig god og rund, behøver ikke mat — 3 months ago
Would absolutely buy this again. A medium ruby red with a pronounced nose of cherry, raspberry, wild red fruit and obvious French oak, some vanilla and licorice.
It’s dry with high acid and alcohol. It’s body and fruit intensity is medium to plus that follows the nose but with sour cherry and red currant notes which with the acid and alcohol make it very fresh. There’s some rounded tannins with a little grip at the end. The finish is medium.
A very good wine! — a year ago

Actually a blend of Cab Sauv, Castelão, Syrah, Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet. This wine is a very dark purple, almost inky. The nose is also dark, showing blackberry notes alongside savory tobacco, spice and earth, all in a very smokey framework. The palate of this interesting blend is nearly stunning. Tannins have a good grip, but the blue fruit flavors are amazing and the acidity leaves the sipper salivating. It seems bizarre to me that this wine cost less than $10. It drinks like it should cost much more.
