Cloudy pale yellow, v. expressive & aromatic but not on the fruit side.
Summer meadow, dried grass, bruised apples, fresh Mandarine peel. Funky, wild, so fresh & juicy!
On the palate this is equally funky, a bit cidery yet has brilliant balance. Great flow & energy, a touch of tannins, a spicy finish.
Definitely unorthodox yet sooo drinkable. The Seckinger brothers have done it again!

Muted & a bit yeasty. V. Linear. A bit disjointed in the palate? A bit funky? Green fruit with gooseberry & kiwi. Great drinking but not very Chardonnay. Not convincing. — a year ago
Entry level from Seckinger, showing what new & exciting in Pfalz. Slightly funky and rough around the edges this shows lovely aromas of bruised apple, underripe peach pure with a lemony-flinty freshness. Racy acidity and stony minerality plus a salty tang give this an enticing character and dangerous drinkability. Delicious stuff. — 4 years ago
Fresh, zippy, mineral.
Quite shy on the nose, with some very shy white peach & lemkn but with some nice mineral, wet sand notes. A slight hint of natural funkiness, too.
On the palate this shows nice breadth, a slightly creamy mouthfeel yet with a hint of a tannic frame, zippy acidity.
Almost no fruit yet still enticing & delicious. Highly food friendly. — 2 years ago
