Rustic as the day is long. Underrated varietal. Dark violet color. Aromas of purple flowers, bramble berries and plums. More black cherry on the pallet though the other fruits are present. Spicy on the finish with a slight hint of grilled herbs and a touch of minerality. Medium-plus tannins and vibrant acidity. Quite concentrated.
