Omg earth by which I mean Brett by which I mean the aromas leaping at me like a barnyard sheep leaping over the wineglass moon at my innocent nose. Patience. This brett (unlike political ones) will dial down and in fact help out the rest. Earth and acid and all types of fruits in the barn in the nose and the barn goes away on the palate. Super fun time. Poured into a wineglass, this baby gives a hue of Cooked caramel . Minimal froth. Very complex with an initial hint of maple syrup. The sides of the tongue are pleasantly bathed with a creamy texture joined by a kiss of
Pepper. A rise of temperature unlocks notes of charred wood,toasted almonds and vanilla with a pronounced finish of cacao beans and espresso. A great companion to have for the fall season. Definitely holds it’s own as a desert beer as well — 7 years ago
