Been waiting to try this producer for ages, didn’t disappoint; electric tropical fruit and florals on the nose, ripe guava, then tastes zingy and even with great grip and distant bitterness at the end, so good to see someone getting this style just right without any crazy notes putting the whole thing off course. — a year ago
From Williston Park Wines and Spirits. Jammy red currants, milk chocolate, roses 🌹 — 2 months ago
Opened yesterday, drank over 2 days.
The nose is very fruity and intense with dark cherry touches, earthy notes, some raspberry and blackberry scents too. I could even smell some peony notes too. This is really inviting. The palate is wide and long and quite complex. A good acid drive, some dark cherry notes all along, some very soft and easy going mouthfeel that is changing in mid palate with a great tannic wall, which adds a layer of dust over an otherwise quite juicy and fruity finish. In the back-end though, there is a tiny savoury note that pops along with a subtle bitterness. This is really my kind of cab franc. Really good stuff! — 10 months ago

Deep ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Nose of red fruits with light earth notes.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing black currants, black plums, cherries, spices, tobacco, earth, light wood, dark coffee and black pepper.
Smooth finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.
This 6 year old is a very easy drinking Cabernet Franc from the Loire Valley in France.
Good right out of the bottle, and gets more complexity as it opens up. Tannins show up after 45 minutes of airtime.
I had it 4 years ago, and it is drinking pretty much the same, although it did gain more complexity. Will not get any better from this point, so drink up.
Good by itself as a sipping wine and good with food. I gave it a light chill and paired it with cheeses and crackers.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

And now the white. Actually a lot of the same profiles as the orange but without the tannic grip stuff, kinda not what I want from a white and on the edge of VA but still intriguing if kept cold. — a year ago
A very nice BdB made in an oxidative style - ripe yellow & red apples, bruised apples, subtle shortbread & brioche, a hint of fresh hazelnuts. Rich, evolved, so nice.
Very fine mousse on the palate, persistent bubbles, beautifully balanced with just a touch of residual sugar adding a nice creaminess on the palate.
This is truly a nice sipping bubbly. — 2 years ago
