Dark berries, olive, dry thime — 4 years ago
Loved this wine. 13% Alcohol. Very elegant, balanced and seamless with typical black cassis, a hint of eucalyptus and pencil shavings - nice savoury finish. Not as bold or intense as other Australian cabs which is why I liked it. — 8 years ago
I am always looking for a good Australian Viognier. Well I have found another one. Up there with Yeringberg and Clonakilla for quality. Gorgeous floral nose followed by a rich plump palate with subtle spice. Lovely. — 8 months ago
Magnificent, gorgeous mature Yarra valley Cabernet blend. Appropriately opened the day I was supposed to be working at the first day of the Yeringberg open weekend which was cancelled due to COVID restrictions. — 4 years ago
Hard to know how to rate this wine but certainly this isn't reverence for age. It has sleek leather and truffle tones with autumn leaves but also such charming fruit - silky plumminess and macerated cherries. Compact, even and flowing on the palate. — 9 years ago
A rich lemon in colour. A little honeysuckle note but not intensely varietal like a Southern Rhone white can be - aromatic and unctuous. Just medium bodied - a little elegant. Medium minus acid. First of 3. Drink the other 2 in the next year or so. Made by the long established de Pury family who are French who commenced making Marsanne at Yeringberg in the 1860’s and pioneered Roussanne in Australia in the 1980’s. A good wine but to be honest not as enjoyable as Guigals Cotes du Rhone Blanc using largely similar varietals for $24. I should add that Yeringberg make a benchmark Cabernet in the Yarra Valley. Tasted again 37 weeks later on 31/3/22 with similar notes - an apricot touch and unctuous mouthfeel. Same notes 5 months later on 26/8/22. Apricot and unctuous as stated. — 3 years ago
2010 vintage consumed July 2016. At the outer edge. Should have had it a year ago. Still, it's a lovely wine. — 8 years ago
Exceptional Shiraz. Beautiful perfume and depth - smoked meat, red fruits, liquorice, chocolate-dusted cherries. Savoury, supple and refreshing. — 9 years ago

So lovely! Opened after working at Yeringberg showing the 2022 wines (which were amazing!). So delicate and velvety with rich tertiary characters. Fruit still vibrant showing dark berries. Awesome! — a month ago
