1967 Bordeaux is much maligned, but like many things from the vintage, this wine over-delivered. Nobody could ever call it “over the hill”, and aromatically it is amazing with bright fruit and Sandalwood notes combined with the mildly sour aromas of aged Bordeaux. The wine lacks weight on the palate, though, and I suspect it always has. The label says “14%”, but I’d bet it’s 13, at most, from this notoriously un-ripe vintage. — 6 years ago

A little “Rubber and Black Flag” at first, but once open it was pitchy and character-filled enough to be great with the food at “Mission Chinese”... — 6 years ago

2010 vintage. Bright, tight and a little funky. Great texture. Right up my alley... — 5 years ago
Aromatics that check the boxes but do it without much intensity. Super “Zingy” on the tongue though. — 6 years ago
Melon, stone fruit and seaside aromatics. Almost cidery initial intensity with a lot of bright energy. — 6 years ago
