Nose of sandalwood. Lots of strawberries and cherries. Light tannins. This one is lighter- bodied than others I’ve had. Complimented nicely the Pasta Amatriciana. — 22 days ago
Good Montepulciano. Some tar and alcohol on the nose. Deep mahogany. Big, round, mouthful of dark fruit. Lingering tannins. Had it with pizza, but I think this would be nice with grilled beef or lamb.. day 2. Much softer. The alcohol has receded — 25 days ago
Lighter bodied- very soft and expansive in the mouth. Some nice fruit and a little bit earthy. Excellent wine. — 12 days ago
I’ve never been enthralled with Gruner, but they are pleasant and a nice summer wine. This one from the Finger Lakes does not have the liveliness I associate with what I would consider better ones. It’s reasonably crisp, with good acidity and some pear notes. Good, ithough not exciting. — 23 days ago
Had this a few days ago. Good fruit, acidity. Pretty good for the price. — 10 days ago
Bracing acidity. Perfect for a warm evening bottle on the deck before grilling. Salmon- colored, mouth- puckering; with a little zip/ fizz in the mouth. — 12 days ago
Light, not a ton of fragrance; such intense fruit- strawberry/ cherry. Really enjoyable light red. — 14 days ago
