Opened the 97 Monprivato back in spring and it wasn’t showing that well. This one seems fresher, more balanced. Not just fully mature but beginning a very slow decline. Nonetheless the depth of fruit, richness of the tar, smoke, herb, and sous bois is terrific. — 2 months ago

Essentially the evolution of the Enderle & Moll concept. Sven E. often took more wine making risks. Sometimes poor genius. Sometimes at the edge. I love this gamble. But it does not always pay off - here it did.
