Inky ruby/purple color. Aromas and flavors of black cherry/berry/currant with additional hints of tobacco black licorice, baking spices and bramble vines. Hint of charred wood and smoke on the medium-plus finish. Full bodied, ripe tannins and plus alcohol. The nose was a bit closed but the flavors were bright, rich and fresh. Solid FLX Red. Bright silver/gold color. Aromas of lemon candy, apple, white flowers and lime. Expressive flavors of lemon, tropical fruit, Granny Smith apple and peaches. Hint of fresh herbs on the medium-plus finish. Mouth watering acidity and excellent balance. Pleasant mouthfeel and aftertaste. So flavorful, bold and well crafted. Heard very good things about Trefethen Dry Riesling and I am glad I finally tried it. Unique Riesling style. — 17 days ago
Blend of Pinotage (84%) and Cinsault (16%). Interesting Garnet/Magenta/Ruby color. Aromas of sour berry/cherry fruit, wet stones and a funky (not unpleasant) musky note. Juicy red cherry, cranberry and pomegranate fruit on the palate with hints of mineral and earth. Very tangy on the medium finish. Fine tannins and soft texture. Quite fresh tasting and complex. No signs of oak aging. Two very complimentary blending partners. Interesting. — 5 days ago
Dark ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, black currant, chocolate, leather, roasted nuts, black licorice and cedar wood. Touch of vanilla and a green note on the long, smooth and earthy finish. Silky tannins and well balanced. Medium-plus body and pretty good complexity. Solid QPR. — 10 days ago
Primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of Merlot, Malbec and Petite Verdot blended in. Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas of black berry/currant/cherry with additional notes of dried figs and tobacco. Dark fruit also on the palate with hints of dark chocolate, plums, roasted nuts, sweet spices and earth. Lovely hint of graphite on the long finish. Full bodied but so savory well balanced. Velvety tannins. Thanks for sharing this one during Super Bowl LIX, Mark S! — 12 days ago
Another solid vintage of this entry level Rioja. Blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo. Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas and flavors of black berry/plum/raspberry fruit, leather, cedar, tobacco, baking spices and vanilla. Touch of toasty oak on the long and savory finish. Nicely structured and elegant. Fresh acidity. Appreciate the taste, Chris B! — 18 days ago
Yakima Valley (WA) fruit. Medium cloudy golden color. Aromas of lemon, white flowers and brioche. The palate is full of pineapple, citrus and tropical fruit with hints of spice, light oak, butter and vanilla. Long finish, crisp acidity and creamy texture. This wine is unfiltered which intensifies its “leesey” qualities. Quite complex, well crafted and interesting. Elegant and Burgundian in style. — 5 days ago
A more gentle Nebbiolo. Light ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas of sour red berry fruit, leather, forest floor and smoke. Sour cherry, cranberry and pomegranate fruit flavors with hints of tobacco, dark chocolate and earth. No obvious indication of oak aging. Tannins are relatively mild and pretty well integrated. Well concentrated but slightly out of balance. Somewhat elegant and restrained. Not what I expected. Thank you for the bottle, Ron B! — 8 days ago
Single Vineyard Red Burgundy. Dark crimson color with a ruby core. Aromas of red and black berries, red flowers, baking spices, leather and freshly turned soil. Flavors of mushroom, red berry/cherry fruit and savory herbs and spices. Slight hint of smoky oak. Extremely smooth tannins and beautiful balance. Light bodied with medium-minus acidity. The finish is a bit short. So easy to drink, especially for such a young wine. Thanks for sharing this one, Kasey and Pete. — 14 days ago

Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (46%), Merlot (45%) and Petite Verdot (9%). Dark garnet/ruby color with a noticeable brick colored rim. Aromas of black fruit and berries, leather, rose petals and tobacco. Flavors of ripe black plums, black currant, black cherry, graphite and iodine. Long, earthy and softly textured finish that features a nice amount of oak. Well integrated and very soft tannins. Medium to medium-plus body. Still fresh and concentrated on it’s twentieth birthday. So easy to drink. Thanks for sharing this impressive bottle, Kase and Pete. — 2 days ago
