Ancestral method Prosecco Pet Nat. Medium gold color. Aromas of green apple Jolly Rancher candy (No, it’s not a bad thing), bread dough and fresh herbs. The fresh herbs come through on the palate along with notes of pear and green apple. A bit of bitter lemon on the medium-plus, creamy and pleasantly funky finish. Fine bubbles and bone dry. Quite good. — 2 days ago
Not as good as the 2023 Vintage that I tasted a few weeks ago. Lemon yellow color. Aromas of tropical and citrus fruit along with white flowers, pears and slate. Flavors of pineapple, guava, fresh herbs and a bit of lemon. A notable backbone of steely minerality. A bit bitter on the very short finish. Light bodied but with mouth watering acidity. Heading past its drinking window. — 7 days ago

Deep ruby color with some periwinkle highlights. Aromas of ripe red and black fruit, roasted poblano peppers and baking spices. Flavors of blackberry, black cherry and black raspberry with hints of baker’s chocolate, vanilla and black pepper. Very long and smoky finish. Full bodied and rich. Bring on the barbecue! Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Abundant aromas of ripe red fruit, bramble, orange zest and tobacco. Ripe plum, cherry, blueberry and raspberry fruit flavors with additional notes of baking spices, Earl Grey tea, figs, coffee and vanilla. Medium tannins, acidity and finish. (Very “Malbec-like”). Quite fruit forward (but not over the top), plush and dry. Oak is relatively in check. Thanks for the gift, Kase! — 2 days ago
Rose’ blend of Tempranillo (50%), Garnacha (30%), Albillo (10%) and Viura (10%). Salmon pink/light fuchsia color. Aromas of peaches, white blossoms and red berries. Flavors of red cherry, peach and tropical fruits. Medium intensity and silky/creamy texture (lees aging?). Well balanced acidity and very refreshing. As the wine took in more air, the more the Tempranillo showed through. Thanks for sharing, Kase! — 8 days ago
Rhône Valley Rose’ blend of Grenache (50%) and Syrah (50%). Light pink color. Abundant aromas of strawberry, raspberry and white flowers. More raspberry fruit on the palate with additional flavors of strawberry and watermelon. Well balanced and quite crisp. Just a bit of heft. Interesting bottle design.
