Wine is incredibly dark and brooding. Very dense and heavy taste and texture right out of the bottle.
Drank over about 3 hours. Oxygen was this wines friend and the wine opened up quite a bit to reveal more bright and red fruit to complement the black fruit and density which also gave way as it breathed.
Not a blockbuster from a complexity perspective and lacked the punch of something special. But a solid oakville cab nonetheless and not too oaky. — 13 days ago
Opened and decanted 2.5 hours in advance of our inaugural Aglianco Osso Buco wine dinner here at the Gotham
Facing off against a range of Aglianco from Leonetti in WA and Galardi in Campania
the Unti comes across with the brightest red fruit flavors of the wines and has a softness to the tannins that make this wine a little lighter than expected.
Fascinating that at the take end of the meal - 5 hours from opening - this wine really popped with fruit and more body than paired with the polenta and sauce.
Lovely wine and different expression of the grape here. — a month ago
Really like this wine. Pale golden color
It’s got good depth with some butterscotch flavor and a roundness suggesting good oak integration. Not overwhelmingly sweet though it has some richness to it.

Gorgeous Pinot from sta rita hills Love the brightness and finesse of this wine — 14 days ago
First bottle had oxidation and was a touch towards vinegar.
2nd bottle was fresh and gorgeous. Great fruit flavors. Somewhat apricot and floral. Lovely. — 14 days ago

The Leonetti was the youngest of the 4 bottles yet had the most alluring combination of fruit and density. Definitely a crowd pleaser. Easy to drink with or without the food. — a month ago
Enjoyed this wine quite a bit. Darker fruits and full bodied. Also had good depth. Minimal oak. Tannins in check. Medium complexity. Minimal decant and mostly just drank out of the bottle over 1 hour. Might evolve more with airtime. — 12 days ago
Wow. Decanted 3 hours before serving. From Magnum
This wine had great smoothness to it. Balsamic and savory flavors coupled with some dark cherry fruit flavors.
This wine really hit on all cylinders given the age. — 14 days ago

The 2007 Galardi came across with olives, gaminess and herbs in the nose but once tasted showed a certain finesse and smoothness that was great. This was right up there as the savory wine of the night. — a month ago
