Cute label with bike and basket. Fun cork with handle on it. Color is pretty, ruby red. Aroma of baked berry desserts and black strap molasses. Flavors are decent if a bit blunt. Soft cherry and berries. Easier style. It’s a good weekday sipper. — 5 days ago
Had this again. Label is hint classy. Rustic. Color is lighter with a slight rust to the edge. Smells like rocks in the sun and flint. Berries too. Flavors are juicy, fruity and balanced. Zippy. This is a lighter styled GSM with a classy elegance to it. — 7 days ago
This has a cool label, comes in a liter bottle and is easy twist top. Has a hint of honey and plenty of lime. Crisp. With a hint of melon. Nice summer wine. — 13 days ago
Same old label. Decent drawing of da Gap. Color is purple with a rose petal edge. Aroma of hot rocks and bricks in the sun. Hint of elder or some other strong berry underneath. Flavors are robust and intense. Black licorice. Bit of red to black berries too. Chewy and dense. This is a beefy Barbera. Different than most Italian ones I’ve had. Reminds me of the foothills style. It’s well done though. — 15 hours ago
Has the cool ufo label with a yellow light instead of the red one. Color is great. Straw yellow. Smells like lemon peels and candles. And mineral water. Flavors are simple yet on point. Crisp and clean. Plenty of lemon and some great tannic bite. This is good white. — 5 days ago
This is a Sonoma Valley Syrah. It’s hot coming in at 15% ABV. Pretty color with a magenta edge and a deep purple core. Aroma is heady and musky. But of hot rocks in a sauna. Blackberry cream. Flavors are on point. Tar and leather with a deep berry middle. Licorice hint. Nice tannins. Doesn’t have a alcohol hit. It works pretty well. And it’s a great deal at $5. This is the best of the ‘second cheapest wine’ bottles so far. — 9 days ago
Simple label. Little bit of style. Color is ruby red if a bit rusty on the edges. Aroma is earthy and strange. Wet stream bank. Construction and painting projects. A hint of cooked berry pies or cobblers. Cherry too. Black cherry juice. Flavors are nice. Silky smooth. Juicy and fruit forward. It’s a great example of how good Merlot is in The Alexander Valley of Sonoma. Nice warm and delicious red. Balanced. — 16 hours ago
Crazy bottle with a star map. And it’s heavy too. Fairly dark. Smells like Zin. Warm strawberries, hot lumber, cedar. Flavors are warm and fruity. Baked cherries and berry cobbler. Complexity and interesting elements are here. Tart and tannic as well. This is a lovely Lodi Zin. — 6 days ago
Another bottle of this blend. Dramatic art on the label. I guess it’s an oak. Dark, dark color. Opaque. Smells like wet rocks and soils. And something fruity. Woodsy and bushy herbs too. Flavors are smooth and elegant. Fruit driven. Rich, ripe red and black skinned fruits. Has a herbal side. Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme? This is a nice red wine. Art and heavy bottle are worthy of its elegance and style. — 9 days ago

This is still an elegant and complex hot climate Zin. Reminiscent of European wines even though it’s Zin. We’ll see how it changes now that it’s not being made by the winemaker named on this label… — 15 hours ago
