2008- excellent barolo, best on day 2 of 3, slight oak creaminess but very pure cherries rose and limestone grip, red licorice as well. Suave, broad and silky in mouth, plenty of tannic grip and vibrant acidity ---should age with grace! — 10 years ago
Popped and poured...sooooo young but it’s already showing great potential. Fresh, bright red and dark fruit, roses and minerals. Classic Barolo. Surprisingly enjoyable to drink now but it’s pretty obvious that these will be at their best down the road a ways. — 7 years ago
Layers of toasty oak, tobacco, cassis. Tannins are initially confronting but start to soften and flesh out after 20minutes in the glass. Beautiful wine, many more years of life yet. — 9 years ago

This was terrific. Old school earthy maybe a tinge of brett to go along with the berries and rose petals. “Balanced” and “elegant.” — 7 years ago
