This fiano is the finest example I have found to date. Creaminess, a little Asian pear, plus some nice nutty flavors all mingle together to make a delicious white wine worthy of savoring!! — 6 years ago
2007 Solaia. Quarantine. Decanted 1 hour before serving. Drank with steak. Decanting drastically improved the wine. It was delicious after an hour and got better. Cocoa and coffee notes upfront, mushroom, rosemary, and other herbs following. Great tannin structure and body on the finish (which improved substantially after decanting). — 5 years ago
The nose was dark, vibrant and rich with minerals and spice giving way to savory cherry sauce, herbal tones, black earth, and a hint of orange peel. On the palate, it showed silky textures contrasted by intense concentration and hints of tannin, with ripe dark fruits followed by notes of sweet herbs and cocoa. Mouth-coating, minty, dark fruits coated the palate throughout the long finish. This is the first time I've tried the '06 Naima where it seemed ready to drink. Beautiful tonight! — 9 years ago
A nose of smoke and earth. On the palate, it’s fruity but balanced with acidity and a touch of tannin. Very nice and glugable, but also improves with food. — 5 years ago

The best! Close your eyes and imagine you are on a beautiful patio in a restaurant on top of a hill at sunset looking down on Tuscany and taking your first sip - Instead of being in the Q!!! — 4 years ago
