Great wine, and holds up surprisingly well! Had the same vintage a couple years ago! Cheers!

Mongeard-Mugneret

Grands-Echezeaux Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2010

What better way to try out my new Coravin Wine System than with a glass of 2010 Echezeaux Grand Cru. Amazing ripe berries and spice on the nose . blackberry jammy fruit in the mouth with crushed stones and a dark chocolate kicker. So good — 5 years ago

Fattoria di Fèlsina Berardenga

Riserva Rancia Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend 2016

The 2016 Felsina Rancia is all class. Rich, red fruit, tension and fairly austere tannins. Not as giving as it might be. Glad I used Coravin on this one. I'll check in on it in a while! — 5 years ago

Tenuta delle Terre Nere

Etna Rosso Nerello Mascalese Blend 2017

2017 vintage. Excellent tension between elegance, delicate fruit, and tightly-wound tannic structure. Floral hibiscus and violet aromas with cranberry, tart cherry, pomegranate, red plum, autumn leaves, green tea, and tree bark flavors. Great streak of acidity and tannins are still quite tight. Tasty with a very long finish. — 5 years ago

Reserved, dark cherry cola. Typical Meo, but with more reserved notes, thanks to 2014. — 6 years ago

Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2008

I’ve owed Delectable some posts for a while now....and we need community now more than ever and Delectable has always been a positive, supportive community...so I’m jumping back in. I’m about 300 wines behind but I’m going to work backward starting with the wines I’ve enjoyed the last few weeks during this period of relative isolation. I’m calling this series “Loving Wine in the Time of Corona” as a nod to my boy Gabriel Garcia Marquez who was also a big time wine guy......this bottle is from our first Zoom tasting with the local wine group @romo @Steve Anderson @Michael Meyer @Matthew Beckman @Vickie Beuerle @Dan Blackwell on 3/14. Pinot theme. The Meo was youthful and pure, so much depth, concentration and lively red fruit. Good times with great people. — 5 years ago

Why is uploading multiple wines important?
Antonio Galloni

@romo some people find it easier to upload multiple images and notes at once. Especially if you taste a bunch of wines together, in one setting

Yes it’s far superior than the old days of loading each photo individually @Antonio Galloni 🙏

So crystalline clear next to DRC’s. And not to it’s benefit. Quite lean, spicy and red fruited, dusty and austere, perhaps one dimensional until I re-included the fine sediments which we had allowed to settle to the bottom of the bottle for a few days before opening. Then, it bloomed into a blue and red fruited Morey with class and density, dimension and width. I would choose the latter expression over the former any day. — 6 years ago
