Classic, restrained Meursault nose - yellow fruit, lemon peel, a hint of green hazelnut, just a touch of wood. Fresh & precise. Taugt.
On the palate this shows depth & precision and yet this is all a really nice Meursault, just not in name.
Love the tension & balance. And the really long, fresh, light yet persistent finish.
A brilliant ‘simple’ Bourgogne Blanc. — 2 years ago
Very Impressive - particularly given the $12 price point. A chameleon on the nose w/appealing citrus fruit interspersed w/herbaceousness, kinda grassy yet floral but also a stony, briny marine influence. Great complexity, very engaging & equally impressive on palate w/silky sexy mouthfeel nicely integrated acidic backbone. Bit more austere on mid palate fruit wise, but great minerality and clean refreshing finish. I could drink this a few times a week. — 2 years ago

Wow! Big and beautiful. Ripe raspberry, blackberry, black plums, some leather and smoke. Long finish with a perfect balance. I would never know the alcohol is 14.5.. — 2 years ago
